This PhD thesis is framed under the Project MITIGACC (PID2022-140237OB-I00) funded by the Spanish National Programme of Scientific and Technical research.
The proposed project will combine fieldwork and experimental measurements, novel analytical techniques (e.g. pyrolysis; hyperspectral radiometry), remote sensing and numerical modelling techniques. The PhD candidate will be based at the Environmental Hydraulics Institute, IHCantabria (Santander), a multidisciplinary research institution leader in the integrated management of socio-ecological water systems, associated to the University of Cantabria. The candidate will be supervised by Dr. Inés Mazarrasa and Dr. Bárbara Ondiviela. The contract is for three years but could be extended to four years.
Candidate’s profile: We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong background in marine ecology. Previous experience in fieldwork and field data analysis will be positively evaluated.
